Howdy, fellow Draconiacs!  RazorFox here.

Teenage Oscura and young Chiara?  Cue the “d’awwww” in three… two… one…

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this week’s page can once again pull up “I Stay Away” by Alice In Chains.  Great atmosphere in that song for this scene.

This week is it!  For the first time ever, I will be attending Anime Boston–which, incidentally, will also be my first time in Boston.  I am super-psyched to be attending, and I want to thank the convention for having me as one of their featured artists.  Be sure to look for me in the Artist Alley, where you might just score a commission sketch or two, and whatever other goodies I’ll have in tow.  If you’re free next weekend, and can make the trip to Boston, I want to meet you and all my fellow Draconiacs in New England.  Come!  Hang with me!  Let us fun together!  In Boston!

With that said, due to the trip and the time constraints, I’m sorry to say that there will be no comic next Monday, May 27.  A new page will be up the following Monday, though, on June 3.  Hope to see you there.

In the meantime, take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!  See you back here in two weeks, and see you in Boston in one!

Howdy, fellow Draconiacs!  RazorFox here.

Do we detect a bit of a guilty conscience?  Has a certain member of the royal court violated a Dragon’s prime directive?  Stay tuned…

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this page can pull up “I Stay Away” by Alice In Chains.

We are less than two weeks away from my debut appearance at Anime Boston, who have been kind enough to have me as a featured artist!  If you’re in Boston, New England in general, or anywhere in the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada, I wanna see you there!  Look for me in the pro Artist Alley, where I’ll be shaking hands and knocking out commissions.  It’s my first-ever time in Boston, so I’ve been brimming with excitement to make this trip, and I want to thank the Anime Boston staff for putting together an offer I couldn’t refuse.  Anime Boston patrons have been asking me to come out there for years.  It shows you what a little persistence can do.  Thank you, Anime Boston!  See you in two.

As for me, it’s back to work on next week’s page as I commence a workathon in hopes of not having to skip the convention week’s update.  Wish me luck!  Until then, take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

Sometimes, all it takes is two little words.  Kess and Shie may have patched things up for the moment, but what’s next on Riah‘s agenda?  We shall see…

Those of you looking for a soundtrack to this page can once again pull up “Thank U” by Alanis Morissette, particularly for the line, “How ’bout how good it feels to finally forgive you?”

The summer/fall convention season continues to take shape, as this week, I got notification that I’ve once again been accepted into the Anime Weekend Atlanta Artist Alley!  This will be my 13th overall appearance in the ATL at the convention that has never failed to be a total blast for me.  For the first time at AWA, I’ll be joined by my fellow Katboxers MasterGodai of Rascalsand Nekonny of Caribbean Blue.  Come on out and meet me, him, the other him, or any combination thereof!

And that’s in addition to the recently-added Otakon in Baltimore in August, and my debut appearance at Anime Boston later this month!  Hope to see you at at least one of these shows!

On a typical workday, I wake up at 8 AM.  Rather than letting me sleep in this weekend, my body clock has decided to screw with me this weekend, preventing me from sleeping in, no matter how late I go to bed the night before.  Thus, I’m beat!  Off to bed.  Enjoy the new page, and I’ll see you next week.  Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!  ^__^

Could there finally be a thaw in Kess and Shie‘s icy friendship?  Stay tuned…

Those of you looking for a soundtrack can pull up “The Memory Remains” by Metallica.

Not much else to report this week, so I’ll just keep this short and tidy.  Will Kess return the apology?  Find out next week.

Until then, take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

Looks like Riah‘s got her own special greeting for Kess.  Will Kess return the pleasantry?  Stay tuned.

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this page can pull up “Heel Over Head” by Puddle of Mudd.

I’m sorry about the delay on this page.  A bit of depression, a rough week at my day job, inadequate sleep, and writer’s block all came together to generally screw me over last week, which sapped my drive to get anything done.  Part of that writer’s block arose from trying to get the action choreography to work right on this page.  I thank you all for your patience and your understanding, and yes, I’m feeling better now.  Thanks for your concern, your patience, and your understanding.

I got a good bit of news this week in that I’ve been awarded a spot in the Otakon 2013  Artist Alley!  Otakon used to be a regular stop for me from 1998 to 2005, but I stopped going for various reasons after that.  Then, last year, I figured that I missed going to that one enough to throw my name in the hat for their Artist Alley lottery.  My name was lucky enough to get drawn, though I was still a little apprehensive about going back to a convention where I’d been absent for so long.  I wound up being welcomed back with the most open of arms from my fans, and I had an absolutely wonderful time, so much so that I didn’t even think twice about going back this year.  And fortunately, my name came up again.  I look forward to seeing many of you in Baltimore this August.

And speaking of conventions, all the events in Boston this past week have not changed my plans.  My debut appearance at Anime Boston is still on, where I’ll be a featured artist.  Check me out in the Artist Alley as I make my first-ever trip to Boston, and only my second convention ever in New England.  It’s roughly five weeks away, but I’m already pretty amped, and I hope you are, too.  Hope to see my Draconiacs there from New England and the Canadian maritime provinces!

Welp, time to get to work on the next page.  What will be the fallout from Riah’s “greeting?”  Stay tuned…

Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

Howdy, fellow Draconiacs!  RazorFox here again.

It’s great to be back!  Last week, Katbox corporate management made an executive decision where, based upon market research, we all got reassigned to different comics.  Those corporate executives have since been sacked, and I am back at my home comic of The Draconia Chronicles.  My sincere thanks to fellow Katboxer Avencri of The Eye of Ramalach fame for handling Draconia as part of his reassignment.

Miss me?  ^__^

So it seems Naisha‘s ongoing teasing of Ennek, which has always gotten under Ennek’s fur, is now rankling Naisha, as well.  Is Naisha really in denial?  Or is she more determined than ever to roll in the clover with Ennek?  Stay tuned.

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this page can pull up “Add It Up” by Violent Femmes.  Very apropos.

Anyway, I’ve gotta run.  I’m writing this on Sunday afternoon, and I’ve gotta go meet some friends to go watch WrestleMania.  Time to mark out.  ^__^

Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

ANNOUNCEMENT:  Due to writer’s block and general fatigue from poor sleep and a heavy work schedule, I will not be able to get a page done for April 15.  No, it has nothing to do with my taxes, as I already took care of those.  New page will be up next Monday, April 22.  Promise!  Thanks for your understanding.  v__v

So will Shie and Kess be able to coexist, for Riah‘s sake?  Stay tuned…  ~__^

I want to take a moment to shamelessly plug a new project by a couple old friends of mine.  Those of you who’ve been following The Draconia Chronicles since the webcomic’s earliest days might remember that I had assistance from a teammate named Jen Starling, who expertly handled the gray tones for the comic’s first couple years.  Back in 2005, she and her twin sister Renee launched a webcomic of their own, called Tales From New Winter.  Unfortunately, it was cut short due to various circumstances, but the bug to make comics never quite got out of them.  And thus, the Starling Twins have decided to reboot and relaunch Tales From New Winter.  If you want a fun, swashbuckling anthropomorphic adventure, you’re going to want to give this a look.  Hit up their site [link] and check it out!  Tell ‘em RazorFox sentcha!

And with that, it’s back to work on next week’s page.  What will happen next?  Be here to find out.  Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

Big bad Shie can be a big bad kittycat, sometimes.  What does her sister Riah have to say?  Stay tuned…

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this page can pull up “Pure” by Lightning Seeds.

I’m still recovering from the daylight saving time last weekend, where we Americans set our clocks an hour forward, an act that takes me a good four to six weeks to adjust from.  Time for some sleep, and then it’ll be time to work on next week’s installment.  Hope to see you all then!  ^__^

Kess put forward her argument last week, so now it’s time for Ennek‘s rebuttal.  Sounds like it didn’t go over too well with Kess.  Where do we go from here?  Stay tuned…

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this page can pull up “If I Were You” by Hoobastank.

And I don’t really have anything to add this week.  This week was the “spring forward” weekend here in the United States, marking the beginning of daylight-saving time.  It’s where we, as a country, celebrate how much we love sleep by willingly sacrificing an hour of it, so I’m up, but my bed is calling me back.  It would be rude not to answer.

See you all here next week!  Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

So Kess had a few things to get off her chest.  Has Ennek spotted a crack in her armor, though?  Stay tuned…

I want to thank those of you who expressed birthday wishes for me last week!  It was very thoughtful of you, and I greatly appreciate it.  We’ll see how this whole “34″ thing works out over the next twelve months.  I’ll report back with my findings in a year’s time.  ^__^

And that’s actually it for this week.  Tired.  Bed.  Now.  Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!
