you know feel sorry for kilani kess should be thankful that she did not got killed you know it could have been worse
Witch is worse: Being free smelling bad, and in a graveyard. orBeing in a dungeon were you will likley be horribly tortured everyday.
Kess might say that both of those things suck and would ask for a third choice. ^__^;;
she looks PISSED! but that reflex? DAMN! once again you outdo yourself razorfox. why cant you put yerself in that story? be interesting! that right there is even better than that camo ability!
You already have one fox in there already, why not another?
What you don’t know is that he’s secretly the head of this “conclave” Shaleigh mentioned. As such he started this war between the Tigers and Dragons for his own personal gain and amusement and has been orchestrating their every move from the very beginning.
Well that would make sense he is the creator after all.
Eat it Kess. EAT IT.Also: Oh lawd, Shie’s scary o.o I mean, I know how they said that Shie was the more brutal out of her and Rhea(?), but still. Zomg. I hope this makes Kess be less “PRIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE” about everything. Those are LIONS sweety.
I think Shie might agree with that statement.
Here’s some food for thought for Kess: if Kilani did, in fact, crush the egg and/or kill the whelp (like Kess said she would have done), then Queen Oscura would have pushed much harder in her efforts to kill the tigers. By sparing Lumina and raising her as Chuki, Kilani actually protected more dragons, since there was that doubt about whether she was alive or not. Also, Lumina still has those memories, even locked away. She could ultimately be the one who ends the war in a peaceful way, rather than her mother’s twisted genocidal end.
I meant tigers.
All good observations and postulations. Kilani could have done far worse by NOT caring for “Chuki.”
the queen is phsychotic so is sombrana man things are going to get real real nasty around here more than that repulsive
It’s just getting started. Hope you’ll continue to join in the fun! ^__^
Wonder if Shie’s fed up with Kess’ behavior because she’s an older sister herself and knew how much it hurt her when she thought Riah was pissed at her. She can sympathize with Kilani very easily right now.
Great observation. Maybe Shie has been a surrogate sister for Kess in Kilani’s absence. Shie can put herself in Kilani’s “shoes.”
even without a person like you in the story my fine orange friend. you somehow impress a person like me with a knack for a greatly awesome story. i need to start thinking about putting together a story for a videogame i play…. guess you got yerself a guy who’s about to write fanfiction about ya! [and i pray it sticks]

Howdy, fellow Draconiacs! RazorFox here.
A mere few hours before this page went up, a conversation in which I had absolutely no hand happened on the Draconia Chronicles Facebook group between fellow Draconiacs Dexter Adams and Joshua Cehulic. The conversation wound up being mostly about a broken pair of sunglasses, but as to how they got that way, Dexter wound up coining the term “Kess syndrome.”
And the timing on that could not have been more perfect, as this new page has Kess once again getting triggered, although it looks like Shie was ready with a message. Has she gotten through to Kilani‘s stubborn little sister? Time will tell.
Those of you looking for a soundtrack to this page can pull up “And Fools Shine On” by Brother Cane.
This week, I’m entering the home stretch for production on the 2012 Draconia Chronicles Calendar! We’re marking the Year Of The Dragon with our first all-Dragon calendar in over a decade! I hope to have previews up on the site with next week’s update, along with online ordering information.
While I hate setting high expectations for things like these, we did set a record this year with convention pre-orders, so this is poised to be the biggest Draconia Chronicles calendar to date. The calendar is a major annual fund-raiser for me and the comic. Consider your purchase to be a donation toward supporting the comic in the coming year and getting a year’s worth of snazzy, sexy wall art out of it. My sincerest thanks to all who have already ordered, and to the rest of you waiting in the wings, hang tight. Your opportunity to order is just around the corner.
And with that, it’s back to work on the annual goodness. Thanks again for all your support and your continued readership. Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and for those of you here in the United States, and for Americans abroad, have yourselves a happy Thanksgiving!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum! Talk about getting out of your funk the hard way!
Yikes, Kess. Getting a little bit overboard with the Kilani hatred, eh?
Finally, someone tells her to keep all that bile to herself. Some of the group are grateful for someone to risk their life to save them. Also on a side note, I was a little surprised by how much of a size difference there is between tigers and dragons. Briella look tiny in comparison to our adventurous tigers.
When Shie speaks, you’d better listen. ^__^;
Until the get rid of those clothes, they’re all going to be in a “funk” for a while!
Glad you noticed that. I want to illustrate more of the physical differences between Tigers and Dragons. The average Tiger is substantially larger than her Dragon counterpart. I’d say Briella’s about average height for a Dragon, whereas Rula and Naisha are just slightly above average height for Tigers. Perspective also makes the difference in size even more pronounced.
Sounds like one of her own comrades has had enough. Don’t trifle with the big cats.
The differences in size really help me understand how they fight not as well. Frankly a tiger looks like she could pull a dragon’s wing off pretty easily so close quarters would be ideal for them. This also makes all of the elemental magic seem not seem that overpowering either. Sure they can shoot fire, or turn invisible but there are materials that can negate that. Flying seems to be a dragon advantage but all and all it seems more or less balances.
Finally! Someone can get Kess to shut her mouth for once and not get punched!
You’re getting it now. Good job! The other strength that Tigers have is strength in numbers. They reproduce at a faster rate than the Dragons. Some methods of reproduction are just more fun if you’re a mammal. ~__^
That’s the idea. I want to remind folks that Shie wields a bit of influence over her comrades.
I see. I didn’t consider the numbers advantage. Also the tigers actually have their males aground. The male dragons seem rather solitary perhaps even disinterested with this. Not to mention the size difference of those male to the females O.O. Frankly if the tigers ever get organized, they could really put the hurt on the dragons, especially since their shallow numbers have taken another hit.
Though these reasons are exactly why I think the hole dragons close hand to hand combat is incredibly dumb I have to say. Don’t take dragons lightly, after all tigers may have there advantages but there is a reason the dragons have lasted this long and why this war is at a stalemate.
Honestly, with Kess Ive never seen someone so ungrateful for being free and alive.
She says jump, you ask, “HOW HIGH!?”
I can even imagine what Shie would say: “Now we are going to look for Kilani because i own my life to her. You can either tag us along, Kess, or get crushed under my heels but you are NOT going to insult your sister in my presence again!!”
Her pride as a Tiger might be taking over.
Nice to see Shie regaining some of her strength. It might not be much, but it could mean the difference between death and survival. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go cower in fear a little bit. (Shie’s scary! o_o)
There is no “might,” about it. It’s got full reign.
Kess, its alright to be mad but theres a point where its time to calm down. Usually it is before the big cat gets angry.
I assure you she’s a gentle giant… until you cross her.
Might be too late. I hope this is just a “warning shot” from Shie.
Kess may be angry, but Shie is about two seconds away from saying “Enough of that shit!” Then again, why say it in that many words when a single word (and a block from a reflexive punch) is all that needs to be said?
but insanely enough. its gonna involve a trance mix of draconia. and starfox.
i still vote there should be a cast page! but thanks guest. [needed that recap]
LOL! They’ll be surrounded by it everywhere they go. ^__^
One thing to keep in mind when dealing with Dragons vs. Tigers. Tigers may have a numerical advantage, but in the confrontations we’ve seen thus far, it takes 2 (or more) Tigers to take out 1 Dragon–by that, I mean for every Dragon killed, it seems that at least 2 Tigers die, as well. Until a Dragon is exposed/wounded with zhirite (spelling off?), they seem like they can boost their physical abilities to an extent with their magic, in addition to casting spells. (Remember when Elektra horn-planted Gaia into a mountain? She cracked the rock-face!) Until you get that zhirite=kryptonite action going, Batman ain’t gonna KO Superman.
That’s it tell that Kess and let her know who is boss.. nice to see Kess get shut up with out punching the other in the face,
Someone had to shut Kess up. I agree with Shie, Kess been complaining all the way.
Funny thing is, even though she (Shie) went Bitch-mode just then, this was only Bitch-mode on a good day
Right! It’s not what you say but how you say it. And Shie says in one word… with a soul-searing glare. That’s what I call efficiency! ^__^
I’d say she’s about two seconds away from smacking the dew-rag off of her.
Oh I know that dragons have their strengths. I am cheering for them but I was just commenting on the different strengths of both races.
Of course, dragons are still there for a dame good reason.
to be honest im glad shie was shown up by another tiger. crazy idiot deserved to be shown up by a reflex dodged by a hand.
or was it kess? aw man now i got my peoples confused! RECAP ON CHARACTERS PLEASE!
Shie told Kess to stop.
