Howdy, fellow Draconiacs!  RazorFox here. Rule #1 for job interviews: Don’t set the furniture on fire.  This might jeopardize your chances at getting the job. This page also answers a question I’ve been asked countless times, and that’s how Xhianil‘s name is pronounced.  There you go!  ^__^ Those of you looking for a soundtrack to this page can pull up “The Day I Tried To Live” by Soundgarden. I don’t have too much else to add this week, as I need to hurry up and pack for Anime Weekend Atlanta.  I’m writing this on Thursday afternoon, ahead of the trip down there, so I’m currently writing to you from the past about an event which is in my future, which, by the time you read this, will also be in both of our pasts.  Fortunately, my De Lorean gets good mileage.  I’m sure I’ll’ve had a great time–I always do in Atlanta, which is my favorite party con–and I’ll tell you all about it NEXT week. Until then, my fellow Draconiacs, take care, and thanks for reading! =RazorFox.

First one on… Question: What is the difference between a fully RED Fire Dragon and the off-shade red one (such as Xhianil)? And… any idea on how to get the perosnal avatar back on line?

I believe I was said that the shade of color o a dragons skin reflected the power of their magik. The darker the color, the more powerful.

So how do they shape their horns? Is there a horn barber?

Great question! The shape of a Dragon’s horns aren’t the result of any cosmetic modification. Rather, it’s just the way they grow. The best comparison is how some people have straight hair and others have curly hair. Same thing here. Dragons still need to maintain them, though, such as filing them to keep their sharp points, and making sure they don’t grow to any unreasonable lengths.

I honestly don’t blame Xhianil. But she does need to control her anger better than that. But, To tell the truth, I wouldn’t control it that well, either.

Judging from that smirk on Kighan(Like the name by the way.), that defiantly did help. Though the girl defiantly does have anger issues that need to be taken care of.
At first I thought Osceura exiling Electra was just her continuing being emotionally irresponsible and petty. But now after hearing about her bad choice that cased that cave massacre and seeing Electra doing such crap in a bar and leaving Gia to die like she did I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner or worse happen to her.

Working in retail myself (though not a pub or anything like Xhianil) I know just how frustrating customers like that can be! I’d probably set a loooot of things on fire too if I had that ability. Even if I didn’t mean too. xD

It seems the dragons are using the Asian way of writing, top to down (or bottom to up?). Can’t remember if there’s been any other page where I’ve seen actual writing, so I think this might be the the first time it’s shown.

I think I’ve actually featured it once or twice here and there over the years, but it’s been a long while. Yeah, the default direction for Dragon script is just like Chinese or Japanese: top to bottom and right to left. It can, however, also be written left to right and top to bottom, like western script. Good eye! ^__^

What made you decide to give the dragons the Chinese/Japanese writing? I don’t know what they should’ve had otherwise, but I’m just curious if there’s any particular reason why this one.

No particular reason, really. I just like showing ways of doing things in the Draconia universe that are different from what we do but are equally viable. If anything, you’ll notice that the Dragons typically store written information in scrolls which progress horizontally, thereby making vertical writing more suitable for this.
